  1. LiveUpdate has found unrecognized versions of the Norton
  2. Utilities program files that need to be updated.
  3.  
  4. This may have occurred due to:
  5.  ╖ A patch failed to complete in the past, or
  6.  ╖ Problems related to the Norton Utilities 30-day trialware.
  7.  
  8. If you have a CD or diskettes from which you installed, do
  9. the following:
  10.  1. Uninstall Norton Utilities using "Add/Remove Programs" 
  11.     in the Control Panel.
  12.  2. Re-install Norton Utilities from CD or diskette.
  13.  3. Re-run LiveUpdate.
  14.  
  15. If you purchased Norton Utilities by unlocking the 30-day 
  16. trial version, some pieces of the program may still be 
  17. encrypted. To decode them, you must do the following:
  18.  1. Start the Norton Utilities Integrator.
  19.  2. Start and close each of the features.
  20.  3. Re-run LiveUpdate.

  22. If LiveUpdate still encounters problems, contact Technical
  23. Support. See your manual or the online Help for contact
  24. information.
